first shot for beatiful places in Taipei

One of the best time in my life is January 31, 2009.

10.30 AM (Gong guan MRT Station)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The journey begins from Gong guan MRT Station. It’s the nearest MRT station from my campus. Just take the bicycle from my campus around 5 minutes then we will get there. Actually it’s very near from NTU, but still I can’t get there right. Since I’m not good in direction, map or whatever connects to it. How many people involves in this journey? So many. There’re two families, Alia’s family and Bu Yessy’s family. Since Alia and Rizki haven’t got any children so just two of them. Then Pak Zul and Bu Yessy with their “krucil” Aisyah – Ihsan – Deedat. The rest are the single fighter girls ever. Anis – Yuherina – Erit and me. Anis and me are from the same university, but Yuherina and Erit are from NCU – Zhong Li. So far away from Taipei. So they need more time to get to Taipei from Zhong Li, and they arrive in Gong guan earlier than the others. So what about the expenses for taking this trip. We need 30 NTD to get to Jiantan MRT Station. It’s truly cheap for a transportation fare, since the transportation here is so advance. All of these are technically in the right order, so you’ll be safe. No need to wait for such a long time just to get your MRT. Then, no need to worry about its rapidity. You’ll be fully satisfied for the transportation here.

After we arrive at Jiantan MRT Station, we have to wait the bus to deliver us to the National Palace Museum. The bus No. 30 or No. 300 (if I’m not mistaken, actualy i forget whether 300 or 303). The bus fare maybe 25 or 30 NTD, since I use my easy card to pay it, so I didn’t take any attention to the fare. The tour is starting so smoothly, since the view outside the bus is perfect. The traffic is not so crowd, so we still can enjoy it good.

Here’s the place. National Palace Museum (NPM). The picture is showing the main gate to get to this museum. The museum lied in the valley area, so the view is perfect. The building of this museum is unique. It is designed as an old chinese house. It’s trully great. The collection is very huge. Actually, the structuring to display the collection in this museum is awesome. You will feel the different touch of the museum. Unfortunately, you can’t take any picture inside the museum. The ticket just 180 NTD, and for the students there’s 50% discount. The collection are including the furnitures, unique boxes for jewelry, handcraft from metal or woods or even ivory, art of chinese characters from the past, hand paintings, many kinds of stupa, jewelry, ceramics, swords, mining, and so many other things.

For your info, the handcraft is trully beautiful. They are so detail. Even for the very small handcraft, until you need a magnifier to look what’s the picture. I don’t know what kind of technology that they use in that ancient times to do such a detail crafting. The other info is, since the collection of this museum is huge, so you will find different collections for every 3 months. If you attend the museum every 3 months for about 3 years, maybe you will finish to know the whole collection completely. So you can imagine how much the collections are.

Besides, there are a good habit I’ve seen here. The parents so enthusiatic to take their childrenn here. They help their child to understand of each display that they see. It’s one of the characteristic of the people who are appreciate their country. And they want to deliver it to every young generation. That’s a very nice guide for me, since I’m wondering to be a mother someday.
